The 3rd edition of the Doctorales de l’ASRDLF is coming soon! This year, six laboratories (ACP, DEST, Lab’URBA, LATTS, SPLOTT, LVMT) and three Doctoral Schools (OMI, VTT, CS) of the University Paris-Est stepped out to organize the event. Doctorales 2015 will take place from the 2nd to 4th of February 2015 on the Campus de la Cité Descartes de Marne-la-Vallée.
Various disciplines, such as Economy, Geography, History, Spatial and Urban Planning will be represented. Main focus? Territorries and the City. Topics will cover the following issues: forms of the cities, local development policies, urban planning, the role of transport infrastructure and innovation, sustainable development, spatial segregation, just to mention a few.
Doctorales de l’ASRDLF bring together French and foreign students who wish to present their thesis ideas. During the last year edition, we became a witness of a lively and inspiring exchange between 78 students and 45 professors and researchers coming from 24 cities of 6 different countries (Canada, Switzerland, Morocco, and more!). A 15 minutes presentation is followed by a fruitful discussion facilitating an exchange of thoughts and ideas between the PhD students, professors, and also young and senior researchers. All that to ensure that students receive good advice which leads to a higher quality of their research.
How to participate? It is easy! Just send us (email@example.com) the registration form, which can be downloaded from:
